Alicia Knutson is a skilled massage therapist with a passion for helping individuals with motor vehicle injuries, chronic and acute pain, and pre and post-natal care. She has a strong background in a variety of massage techniques, including Myofascial Release (MFR), Swedish Massage and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular (PNF) treatment.
Alicia is a member of the Massage Therapist Association of Alberta and graduated from Grant MacEwan University in 2010. Alicia has completed continuing education courses in Myofascial cupping, k-taping, SRT (soft tissue release) and Craniosacral therapy level 1.
Alicia is fully trained as a RAPID specialist. Common conditions include migraines/headaches, whiplash, back pain, sciatica, sacroiliac dysfunction, frozen shoulder, TMJ, vertigo/tinnitus, incontinence, pelvic floor, diastasis recti and advanced scar work.
In addition to her passion of working as a massage therapist, Alicia loves travelling and spending time with her family and friends. When she is not travelling or visiting the mountains she can often be found coaching her 2 sons' sports teams or cheering them on in the hockey rink.
