Alvin believes that restoring function is key to effective rehabilitation. He uses a variety of treatment techniques, encouraging clients to stay active to support their recovery and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

After completing a Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of Manitoba, Alvin earned his Physiotherapy degree from Dalhousie University in 1992. He has pursued extensive post-graduate training, with a special interest in acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada.

With over 12 years of experience in Truro, NS, including roles as Clinic Director, Alvin is excited to return to Lifemark New Glasgow and Pictou County, where his physiotherapy career began.

Outside of work, he enjoys running, golfing, skiing, and spending time with his wife, four children, and grandchildren. Passionate about humanitarian work, Alvin considers his 2012 mission trip to Africa a life-changing experience.
