Amruta was born in Mumbai and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy from India. She further went on to pursue her research and academic interests and earned a Master’s degree in physiotherapy with a specialization in Musculoskeletal conditions from Sheffield Hallam University, UK. Along with a license to practice in the province of Ontario, she also holds an active license in Texas, USA and has experience treating musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions for over 7 years. Amruta has treated most types of Neuromusculoskeletal cases such as Whiplash, Tennis Elbow, Disc herniations, Rotator cuff tears and post-operative cases such as Joint replacements, Ligament reconstructions, and Tendon repairs to name a few. Additionally, she is trained in Concussion and vestibular rehabilitation, TMJ dysfunction, and Kinesio-taping.

In her free time, she enjoys doing yoga and is looking to integrate these two paradigms as a possible avenue for future career advancement. She also enjoys hiking, traveling, and movie nights with her family.
