About

Yinka graduated from Nigeria's premier ivory tower, the University of Ibadan with a BSc Hons (Physiotherapy) in 1998 and been committed to learning and improving practice for athletes all through his career. Following graduation, he got a job with the National Sports Medicine Centre, Lagos Nigeria and attended various sports inury rehabilitation courses like the FIFA 11+ program, pre-2010 FIFA World Cup medical course in South Africa.

He simultaneously got involved with athlete rehabilitation under the mentorship of trained sports physiotherapists, worked independently as team physiotherapist for the Nigerian mens basketball team at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne 2006. Yinka got Twist Sports Conditioning  bronze level certification, McKenzie A,B and C courses, lower limb biomechanics course in Vancouver 2017, Isokinetic Sports Medicine Conference ,London 2015 and Postgraduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy (Bath) 2022. Yinka previously headed the Speed Agility Quickness (SAQ) program for Chilliwack FC (2012-2016), provided acute care intervention for Coquitlam Metro Ford for 3 years also covered the Provincial soccer championship.

Yinka still actively plays soccer with friends on the weekend, regularly attends the gym and watches movies.
