Carmen completed a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University, then went on to McMaster University to graduate with Bachelor of Health Science Physiotherapy (Hon) degree in 1992. She continued with post grad education with focus on orthopedics to earn her Manual Therapy diploma (RCAMT).

Orthopedic or musculoskeletal injuries and conditions continue to be the focus of clients that Carmen treats. A special interest in Hand Therapy has developed by working closely with Certified Hand Therapists in our clinic for many years. Carmen treats clients with hand injuries that do not require specialized post-surgical care or fabrication of splints. Ongoing education regarding hand and orthopedics continues to be a professional commitment.

Previously, Carmen rode horses competitively in the Hunter/Equitation disciplines, and continues to be involved with horses in a casual way now. Outside of work, Carmen enjoys spending time outdoors, family time, and supporting her kids’ activities.
