Cecilia Carneiro attended college in Brazil and obtained a Certicate of Physiotherapy in 2004. One year after graduation, she pursed speicialization in Lymphatic Drainage in the Foldi technique, a practice she has used for over 18 years.

Before moving to Canada, Cecilia opened the first Lymphatic Drainage service offered by the public health care sytem in the hospital she worked at in Brazil. Moving to Kelowna, B.C., in 2016 with her husband, Bruno, and two children, Melissa and Leonardo, she attained her Canadian Licensure as a Registered Physiotherapist in February 2021.

Cecilia is very passionate about helping her patients understand their conditions, engage in proper treatments and overcome their disablilities. She has worked with many practitioners who mentored her in acquiring a more holistic approach and providing manual therapy to treat different orthopedic conditions in addition to her expertise in Lymphatic drainage and compression bandaging.

In her spare time, Ceclila loves to meet her friends, go dancing and spend time with her family going to the slopes at Big White or enjoying the beautiful Okanagan sunshine during the summer.
