About

Charlie, a dedicated physiotherapist, holds a Master of Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. He is certified to provide IMS (dry needling), and to perform running assessments and treat running injuries. Charlie excels in return to sport programs and has further education in treating shoulder injuries and manual therapy techniques.

He believes in personalized care, working closely with clients to understand their unique needs and goals. He creates tailored treatment plans focused on movement and education, empowering clients with the tools to take control of their own rehab journey.

Apart from treating at Lifemark, Charlie is a preceptor at the UBC Physical Therapy and Research Clinic where he supervises and mentors physio students from across Canada. There, he also works with a diverse caseload including neurological pathologies and people with developmental conditions. Charlie has extensive experience treating clients on ICBC/ Worksafe claims, as well as clients dealing with chronic and acute musculoskeletal injuries.

Charlie is a lifelong athlete and has played a variety of sports including rugby, soccer, hockey, MMA, golf, and skiing to name a few. His current passion is running and weightlifting. Outside the clinic, you can usually find him on the seawall training for a race, anything from 5km to a Marathon.
