Chilka has been licensed and registered with the college of physiotherapists of Ontario since 2017. She graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, India in 2010 and completed her Master of Physiotherapy in Neuroscience degree from the MGM University of Health Sciences, Mumbai, India in 2013.

She has upgraded her physiotherapy skills with professional developmental courses such as Neural Tissue Mobilization and Neuro-developmental Technique (NDT) introduction and Facilitation technique. She has 11 years of physiotherapy experience with treating various musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions among all age groups in India and Canada. Her experience includes conducting research, clinical practice, and mentoring physiotherapy students.

Her areas of interest are in treating the patients with orthopedic and sports injuries, overuse injuries, work related injuries, pain management and post-surgical rehabilitation. She advocates evidence-based practice of hands-on techniques and active rehabilitation with a patient centered approach.

Outside of work, Chilka enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, exploring nature, and new places.
