About
Originally from South Korea, Dan immigrated to Calgary at a young age and later pursued a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Physical Therapy at the University of Saskatchewan. His path into physiotherapy was shaped by a deeply personal experience—caring for loved ones who regained their independence through rehabilitation. As a caregiver for two years, Dan witnessed firsthand how compassionate and collaborative care could empower individuals to reclaim their lives. These moments continue to inspire his practice today, where he blends clinical knowledge with empathy to help his patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
In the clinic, Dan brings the same energy and enthusiasm to his work, and is actively expanding his expertise through pursuing advanced training in orthopaedics and dry needling.
Outside of the clinic, Dan’s passion for movement started early through martial arts, sparking a lifelong curiosity about how the body works. A former scout, he’s always been drawn to the outdoors—camping, hiking, and rafting whenever he gets the chance.
