Gina Zoratti has worked as occupational therapist practicing in Ontario since 1993.  Gina is registered in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and is a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.  Gina has extensive clinical expertise across a diverse range of settings, including community care, school health, long-term care, retirement homes, and hospitals.

Since 2007, Gina has primarily focused on providing occupational therapy services for individuals residing in long-term care. With a keen interest in evidence-based cognitive and psychosocial approaches, Gina has worked with individuals diagnosed with dementia to address challenges with cognitive decline.  She is an integral member of nursing and allied health teams providing OT services to address seating and mobility needs, including complex seating needs, fall management and prevention, positioning and wound management.

Gina is passionate about brain health and cognitive programming, she is a trained facilitator in Cognitive Stimulation Therapy, Goal Management Training, and Timeslips.  She has been trained in Mindfulness-Based Chronic Pain Management and completed further education in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Orientation to daily Occupational Performance in Occupational Therapy, Brain HQ and mild cognitive impairment.

Gina is an authorizer for the Assistive Devices Program (Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care) in the Wheelchair, Positioning, and Ambulation Aids category.
