Kat graduated from the University of Alberta in 2004 with her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She is certified in medical acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute and has been trained in dry needling (intramuscular stimulation) with the Gokavi Transverse Technique. Soft tissue techniques, such as trigger point release, play an integral role in her treatment approach, as does the use of Kinesio Taping and incorporating an individualized strengthening program.

When Kat is not working, you will most likely find her chasing a little white ball around the golf course, or playing squash and volleyball. She is an avid traveler, and finds any excuse to be on a plane and fly off to explore foreign destinations.
