Dr. Keegan Au is an orthopaedic surgeon and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.  He studied medicine and completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Memorial University of Newfoundland before completing a fellowship in adult hip and knee reconstruction at the University of Western Ontario and London Health Sciences Centre. After two years of practice in Ottawa, Ontario, he has returned to his home to full-time practice in St. John's, NL, since 2011.  As a full-time faculty member at Memorial University, he holds the rank of Associate Professor and presently serves as Program Director for the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program.  His extracurricular volunteer humanitarian work has included missions abroad with Team Broken Earth and Operation Walk Canada.  He holds active privileges with NL Health Services and also has over a decade of experience in Independent Medical Examinations.
