Kim works at Lifemark Heritage Hill as a Registered Massage Therapist. She has been at the clinic for the last 16 years as well as other clinics throughout the South.
Kim graduated from Foothills College of Massage Therapy from the 2200 hr program in 2000. Previous to that, she attended Mount Royal College and received a diploma in Athletic Therapy in 1999. She uses this knowledge to help patients with sports injuries to understand and set up stretching and home exercise programs, as well as taping after treatment.
Kim has upgraded her schooling with courses in sports physiology and assessment and treatment as part of the International Sport Massage Diploma Program from the Canadian Sports Massage Therapy Association. She also has added Kinesiotaping (Level 1&2) and myofascial cupping to her education.
Kim also works for the Calgary Buffalo Hockey Association as a hockey trainer through the winter season and has been working with teams since 1999. She also is one of the trainer coordinators for the association.
Kim has worked for Hockey Canada in 2005-2006, 2009-2010, and 2013-2014 with the Canadian Woman’s Olympic Hockey Team during their centralization in Calgary for the Olympics. She also worked for the luge team in 2009-2010 at Winsport Sports Training Program.
