Lisa graduated with honors from Eastern College Halifax NS, following a 2-year diploma course in Massage Therapy and Hydrotherapy. Prior to this, Lisa completed a 2-year diploma course in Makeup-Hair Artistry and Special Effects, from the Hair Design Centre in Halifax, NS. 

She has worked in film, television, and photography from 2001 to 2017 across the country, and has won awards for Special Effects Makeup from Readers Digest Magazine. As a fitness instructor and Judo competitor, she also helped to coordinate and help actors with stunt work. and at times has acted herself as a singer and dancer for musicals. 

From 2013 to 2023, Lisa worked as a Teacher’s Assistant for HRCE, assisting youth with disabilities, and found this to be rewarding work, as her son was diagnosed with Autism. Lisa spent more and more time immersed in helping others, through teaching and through assisting children with their physiotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy.  

Lisa believes that Massage Therapy is a corner stone of anyone’s wellness regiment, Massage is complimentary to Physiotherapy and Mental Health, and she looks forward to working with the team and helping her clients meet their health and physical goals, and developing their individualized treatment plans.
