About
Dr. Mateo Lino (DC) is a graduate from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). He provides safe, gentle, and effective Chiropractic adjustments and Soft Tissue Therapies to the spine and joints throughout the body, to help optimize health, performance, posture, and a proper development. Adjustments can allow the body and nervous system be at their most ideal states. He also provides orthotic fitting along with gait analysis, and other therapies as needed. He values each patient’s individual needs, while delivering the most appropriate, personalized, and individualistic care.
Dr. Lino has worked with special populations such as hip and knee arthroplasties, acquired brain injury patients, pre- and post-partum patients, infants and children, athletes, and geriatric patients. He is also actively involved with the Ottawa Running and Soccer communities. He is GLA:D Canada Certified, delivering the education and exercise program to patients with knee and/or hip osteoarthritis who would otherwise be candidates for a joint replacement. He is also the Medical Coordinator for Ontario Soccer’s Development League, for the Eastern Ontario Region.
Dr. Lino’s past experiences as a Personal Trainer and in managing athletic injuries, has given him a greater appreciation for regular rehabilitative care to help prevent injuries and speed up the healing process. This includes comanaging all patients with exercises, a well-balance rehabilitation program, and an exceptional health-care team of Physiotherapists, Kinesiologists, Athletic Therapists, RMTs, and Medical Doctors.
In his spare time, Dr. Lino loves to spend quality time with his young family and explore the Ottawa area. He loves running, playing soccer and football, weight train, and you will always find he is preparing for the next road race. He often organizes running clinics in the spring, summer, and fall, so please ask him for further details.
