Melissa graduated from Brock University with a Bachelor of Recreation and Leisure, majoring in Therapeutic Recreation and minoring in Psychology with first class standing. She worked as a Recreation Therapist for five years prior to pursuing a career in Occupational Therapy. She graduated in 2020 from Dalhousie University and has primarily worked as an Occupational Therapist in the community within the public sector. She joins our team on a part-time basis and offers a variety of skills including, but not limited to: concussion management, home assessments, equipment prescriptions, wheelchair assessments, upper extremity management, palliative and dementia care.
