Prior to that, she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Alberta. Since then, she has completed postgraduate training in Dizziness/Balance and Vestibular Rehabilitation, Concussion Management, Functional Dry Needling, and Acupuncture. She has also commenced furthering her orthopaedic knowledge and skills with the Orthopaedic Division’s Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Program.
Her treatment style involves finding the underlying issues that are contributing to the client’s symptoms and forming a tailored intervention plan that best suits their needs. This may include a combination of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, needling and education. She enjoys working with various client populations and is passionate about helping people attain their physical therapy goals!
Outside of the clinic, Michelle enjoys an array of outdoor activities including running, biking, hiking, and cross-country skiing. She loves spending time with her family and friends, where she continues to discover new activities and interests.
