Originally from Moncton, New Brunswick, Michelle’s love for volleyball took her to St.F.X. University where she played four years of varsity volleyball as well as the NB Canada Games team. Being an athlete, Michelle knew she wanted a career centered in health and wellness.

As part of her degree, Michelle completed the following specialized courses: advanced athletic therapy, nutriution consulting, and a one-year program of personal fitness training. In 2004, Michelle graduated from St.F.X. with a Bachelo of Kinesiology and pursued a career as a certified personal trainer and nutrition consultant.

To complement her career, Michelle completed two years of massage therapy and in 2008 added para-medicine to her skills. Michelle now works full time as a paramedic for Ambulance New Brunswick and is an essential addition to the Lifemark team as our registered massage therapist and kinesiologist.

Michelle specializes in soft-tissue injuries and chronic pain management and continues to take continuing education courses. Some of the recent courses Michelle has taken include: remedial massage therapy, myofascial and active release techniques, neuromuscular techniques, sport massage, pregnancy massage, lymphatic drainage, athletic and kinesiotaping.
