Natasha is an Occupational Therapist licensed to practice in Ontario. In 2021, Natasha received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Queen’s University. During her undergraduate degree, Natasha developed strong foundational knowledge on the human body, as well as the mind-body connection, which initially piqued her interest in pursuing a future career in healthcare. Nearing the end of her undergraduate degree, Natasha volunteered in a rehabilitation unit and became deeply passionate about improving individuals' quality of life through assisting them in engaging in meaningful activities. This experience igniting her passion for working in rehabilitation sciences and led her to pursue her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MScOT) degree from McMaster University, which she recently completed in August, 2024.
During her MScOT degree, Natasha gained experience working with diverse clientele in various healthcare settings, including community care, an inpatient rehabilitation centre, a mental health and addiction treatment centre, and an acute care unit. This allowed her to develop proficiency in assessing and treating clients with a range of mental, physical and neurological conditions. As an occupational therapist, Natasha is interested in using an innovative, client-centered, and holistic approach to empower individuals to engage in daily activities that bring them joy and purpose.
Natasha is also a lifelong learner who is eager to continue expanding her knowledge of the latest occupational therapy best practices and therapeutic tools. She is excited to contribute to the field and support individuals in achieving their health and life goals.
