About
Nicole Terrier obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy at McGill University in 1988, graduating with honours. She worked in both the public and private health care sector throughout Canada including Quebec, the Northwest Territories, and Ontario. Nicole has over 25 years of clinical experience treating a varied caseload including orthopaedic, sports injuries, work accidents, motor vehicle accidents, concussions and vestibular dysfunctions.
In addition to her clinical work, she has been a clinical instructor and mentored physiotherapy students in their University placements. She is fluently bilingual and a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Nicole has extensive post graduate training in orthopedics, including manual therapy, diagnosis and treatment of movement imbalances, mobilization of the nervous system and exercise prescription. She is a trained functional capacity evaluator and regularly performs independent exams for the auto insurance industry.
Nicole is committed to a high standard of care and firmly believes in tailoring her treatment plan to meet the client’s specific functional goals. She assists her clients to gain maximum functional recovery through education about their condition, graded exercise prescription and the appropriate manual therapy techniques.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys an active lifestyle. She is an avid tennis player and enjoys hiking, biking, and skiing.
