About
Peter chose to become a physiotherapist after going through physiotherapy personally after a football injury. He has a deep appreciation for the profession and wanted to be in the position to be able to do the same for others. Peter enjoys the reward of being able to assist someone to return to an activity that they love or restore their ability to do their daily activities with less pain.
He completed a Bachelor of Human Kinetics in the Kinesiology stream at Trinity Western University in 2012, and completed a Master of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia in 2016. Since completing his physiotherapy training, he has challenged and passed the orthopedic level 1 examination through the Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and has taken the Jim Bilotta soft-tissue release course. He has also taken courses for post-concussion syndrome (an advanced vestibular approach with Laura Morris and concussion management).
Peter is the second oldest in a family of nine, and has six brothers. All of his family have played football. He enjoys watching and playing sports, especially basketball and football. He also enjoys weight training and occasionally does challenging hikes on the weekends. He also enjoys simple, healthy cooking.
