About
Born and raised in Calgary, Sam has been a practicing Massage Therapist since 2015. She started working as a therapist after completing her first year at Mount Royal University, allowing her to instantaneously apply the principles learned throughout her second year to real-world scenarios. She graduated from her 2200-hour program in 2016 and is a full member in good standing of the Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association.
Additionally, Sam has a background in Sports Medicine and Personal Training, which has provided her with a strong foundational knowledge of human anatomy and how the body works. She has built on this foundation by taking specialist courses in Advanced Orthopaedic Massage, Dynamic Myofascial Cupping, and is certified in Graston Technique.
Sam takes pride in her professionalism and her standard of care. She tailors each treatment to each client during every appointment. She is intentional in her protocols and the execution of her techniques. She is able to provide safe and effective treatment while minimizing most residual pain and discomfort during and after treatment.
When she is not at work, Sam loves to spend her time reading, going for walks in nature, or spending time with her family.
