Shawn believes that everyone has potential to feel better and move easier using research-based manual therapy, acupuncture, education, fascial abrasion technique and exercise prescription.

He attended Wilfrid Laurier University and Our Lady Seat of Wisdom before studying physiotherapy at Queen's University. He continued at McMaster University for Contemporary Medical Acupuncture where he afterwards returned for an advanced acupuncture/sport internship. Shawn also completed the Dale Carnegie curriculum on effective communication and leadership and was involved as a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA), serving on the board for multiple CPA working groups. 

Away from work Shawn enjoys exploring the local area with family and staying active playing sports with his kids.
