About

Simran graduated from the University of Alberta with a Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy and also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, which was completed at the University of Calgary. Simran was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and has worked in various physiotherapy clinics gaining hands-on experience in treating common injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.

Throughout his education, Simran gained valuable clinical experience across different settings including the Peter Lougheed Centre where he worked at the cardiorespiratory unit, Red Deer Regional Hospital where he focused on treating stroke and traumatic brain injury patients, and the Alberta Children’s Hospital where he worked with the acute lymphoblastic leukaemia and palliative population.

Simran’s special interests lie in treating the neck, shoulder, and lower back issues. Simran enjoys working with athletes, children, and the geriatric population, helping each group improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance their quality of life. Simran’s diverse background allows him to tailor treatment plans to each patient’s unique needs, taking into account their age, activity level, and overall health goals.

Outside of work, Simran is passionate about playing ice hockey, wrestling, and hiking, all of which keep him active and allow him to maintain a healthy, well-rounded lifestyle. Simran believes in taking a holistic, patient centred, and evidence-based approach to making a positive impact in the lives of those he works with.
