About

Growing up in St Albert, Tasha has always been a very active person in her community. She's participated actively in gymnastics, swimming, diving, figure skating, basketball, and most recently, Muay Thai!

Tasha has always been a people person and has a passion for helping others heal and achieve their goals in life. She received her Bachelor of General Sciences and her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta before her sense of adventure sent her overseas to complete her Master of Physiotherapy degree in Brisbane, Australia. She then gained a few years of experience working in Brisbane where she ran several physiotherapy group exercise classes, taught hydrotherapy, and obtained her certification for dry needling.

Tasha's approaches treatment holistically and gets the best results with active involvement of her clients. She uses a mix of soft tissue therapy, joint mobilization, exercise based rehabilitation, dry needling, and plenty of education because it's important to know what's happening in your own body and how your prescribed treatment is going to help. She does her best to make sure the treatment is a team effort, working together to assess your goals and find a feasible treatment plan to suit your needs.

Tasha has a special interest in working with patients with chronic pain conditions, as well as with the mature aged population to help them maintain independence and a high quality of life.

In her spare time, Tasha loves practicing hot yoga, going to the gym, traveling as much as possible, and spending plenty of time with family and close friends.
