About
Vrunda Bhatt graduated from the Honor's Physical Therapy program from Sikkim Manipal University Indai in 2010. Since this time she has gained extensive experience ranging from acute to chronic and long term care working in a wide variety of settings including acute care hospitals, outpatient clinics, and also in the community. She has helped patients with surgical conditions such as joint replacements, sports and orthopaedic injuries, such as strains, sprains and fractures, and a wide scope of neurological conditions, including cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis, spasticity and low tone.
She also does stroke and brain injury recovery. She has special interests in manual therapies, women’s health, and helping patients following a stroke and cancer treatments.
Devoted to her role as a physiotherapist, Vrunda enjoys the healing aspects of physical therapy that maximize her patients’ quality of life. She adheres to current evidence-based approaches to deliver safe, efficient and effective physical therapy. Some of Vrunda’s interventions include manual therapy, soft tissue and myofascial release, muscle energy strategies, joint mobilization, sensory integration, and exercises uniquely derived from yoga techniques.
When she is not studying or pursuing ongoing education, Vrunda can be found at the gym or enjoying outdoor sports including cycling and skiing. Additionally, yoga, painting and artistic projects provide healthy meditation to unwind. Vrunda looks forward to assisting you with your own unique recovery needs.
