About
Jason graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Human Kinetics, both from the University of British Columbia. Jason is certified to practice IMS (dry needling), and is also certified by the Canadian Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute to practice acupuncture. Jason has pursued many professional development courses in strength and conditioning, functional exercise prescription and movement assessment.
As a high-level athlete himself, playing varsity basketball for the UBC thunderbirds, Jason has an intimate understanding of sports injuries and return-to-sport rehabilitation. He understands the importance of injury prevention and bridging the gap between rehab and training. Jason has a passion for helping patients recover from acute or chronic injuries, preventing re-injury and improving performance.
Jason's treatment style and philosophy is to identify contributing factors to injury by looking at the whole body in assessment and treatment. Jason sees patients of all ages and abilities.
Jason is a Richmond native and remains active in the sport community as an athletic trainer, a basketball coach and as an athlete in both football and basketball leagues.
