Justin has been working for Lifemark since 2011 after graduating from the University of Alberta with a Master’s degree in physiotherapy. Justin also has a Bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Calgary (2008). Justin is certified through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute and Kinetacore Physical Therapy Education to treat using acupuncture and functional dry needling (IMS). He has been a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and Orthopedic division member since 2010, and is progressing through the Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy program. Justin's physiotherapy practice utilizes a combination of manual therapy, exercise prescription and IMS/acupuncture to help resolve his patient’s conditions and reach their goals. His hope with each patient is to educate them on their condition and the reasons for it, allowing them to take a more active approach to their own rehab. Justin’s interests lie in both sports related and motor vehicle accident injuries along with post-surgical rehabilitation following joint replacement and ligament repairs. Justin has a special interest in knee and ankle injuries in an active population.
