Melinda graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She is currently on the needling and manipulation rosters of the College of Physical Therapists of Alberta and in good standing with both the College of Physical Therapists of Alberta and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

With over 20 years of experience in multiple settings from acute care hospitals to private practice, Melinda has taken a variety of post-graduate courses to maintain and update her skills. Some of these courses include manual therapy, muscle energy techniques, soft-tissue mobilization, Sahrmann technique, athletic taping, acupuncture, and Gokavi Transverse Technique (dry needling). Her treatments incorporate soft-tissue techniques, joint and neural (nerve) mobilizations, modalities, exercise and education with a goal of improving quality of life. In addition to her orthopedic case load, Melinda spends one day a week practicing vestibular rehabilitation. She believes in helping clients reach their goals and achieve their highest potential.
