About
Krista graduated from the University of Toronto with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy degree in 2006 after earning an Honours Bachelors degree in Kinesiology in 2002 from Lakehead University.
Since joining Lifemark Health Group in the fall of 2008 as a physiotherapist, she focused on assessment and treatment of orthopaedic, vestibular, concussion and cancer rehabilitation conditions. She completed post graduate training courses in manual therapy, acupuncture, vestibular rehabilitation, cancer rehabilitation and concussion management as well as occupational rehabilitation and functional capacity evaluations. In 2014 she completed Certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. While continuing to provide clinical care for clients Krista was also the Clinic Director of our Whitby clinic for 8 years.
In the fall of 2016 Krista was promoted to National Director of Program Development for Lifemark’s specialty programs. The portfolio of programs include vestibular rehabilitation (dizziness & balance), concussion care, cancer rehabilitation and pelvic health. She works to develop and execute training and implementation plans for new specialty programs in our clinics as well as design and fulfill a strategy to increase the awareness of these programs in the communicates we serve.
