Ashton graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Master of Physical Therapy degree in 2020. In 2018, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Great Distinction and Honour's from the University of Saskatchewan. 

She enjoys working with patients towards their rehabilitation goals and is certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation. Not only does she have a special interest helping clients with dizziness, but also those with neurological conditions and arthritic diseases. She believes that appropriate therapeutic exercise is essential to assisting people in reaching their goals and getting back to the things they love. 

In her spare time, Ashton enjoys being physically active, going to the lake, and exploring the rocky mountains with her husband.
