About

Nancy graduated from Queen Margaret University in 2013 with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy.  As a physiotherapist, she is extremely passionate about helping her clients improve their movement, wherever they are within their life journey. Her goal is to help return her clients to pre-injury life, whether returning to work, playing sports, enjoying family activities, or participating in other hobbies. She uses manual/hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercise, tapping, dry needling, and modalities to decrease pain and increase overall function. Nancy believes educating clients is a key component for easy recovery and preventing future injury. She believes in completing an in-depth assessment to find the cause and then working with the clients to offer comprehensive treatment addressing biomechanical deficits, movement dysfunction, and any other barriers preventing a client’s physical recovery.

From the beginning of her career as a physiotherapist, Nancy wanted to pursue a profession where she could make a positive impact, no matter how small, on someone's life and especially on Women's health. She enjoys working with all age groups and has achieved certifications in dry needling, concussion treatment, and pelvic health.

She works with women of all ages who have prolapse, pelvic pain, and bladder/bowel dysfunction (including leakage/incontinence, urgency, and frequency).
Nancy has a growing interest in working with mothers and enjoys helping them feel supported throughout their journeys (gestational and menopausal).

When Nancy is not helping others achieve their functional goals, she enjoys painting, going for walks, and spending quality time with friends and family. Nancy is fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
