Javier Perello is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). He holds a B.A. in Psychology from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and a M.Ed. in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia. He has worked as a counsellor across a variety of settings including nonprofit, private practice and currently for Lifemark Physiotherapy on various WorkSafeBC rehabilitation programs in addition to working with private clients. In his clinical work he draws from various evidence-based treatment methods including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MCBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
