Kanchan completed her Bachelors of Physiotherapy in Bangalore , India. She came to Canada in 2010 and worked as a Physiotherapy Assistant in a hospital before completing the Canadian exam to become a Registered Physiotherapist.

She has completed courses in dry needling and pelvic health for women.

She speaks English, Punjabi and Hindi.
