About

Lisa graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, prior to earning her Master of Physical Therapy in 2017. Since graduation, she has earned her acupuncture certification through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute in 2018 and has completed courses in vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management and dizziness in relation to the cervical spine.

Lisa is just finishing her Masters of Clinical Science in Comprehensive Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (MClSc-CMP) through Western University (2024), which really places emphasis on the clinical reasoning, assessment and treatment of complex orthopaedic conditions. This allowed her to become a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). This designation allows her to perform advanced manual therapy assessment and treatment techniques including spinal and peripheral joint manipulation (ie. muscle and joint treatment). Lisa is also the Junior Resource Chair for the National Orthopaedic Division.

Lisa has a special interest in treating orthopaedics, vestibular dysfunction, concussion management and paediatrics. She uses an active approach to treatment and has a passion for injury prevention and manual therapy. She strongly believes that physiotherapy needs to be patient-centered and look to give you the tools to get back to your daily activities.

While she was born in Edmonton, Lisa grew up in Winnipeg, MB and recently moved back after living in the Okanagan for the last few years. In her spare time, she is a club level volleyball coach (fun fact: she played volleyball for Michigan Tech University) and enjoys spin classes and yoga. Her and her husband are excited to enjoy all that Edmonton has to offer!
