About

Emma is a recent graduate from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Kinesiology in Human Kinetics. She completed her fieldwork placement as a student at Lifemark Physiotherapy Courtside and is now working as a full-time kinesiologist. Emma has completed certification in the WorkWell FCE (Functional Capacity Evaluation) course and is currently working towards her CSEP-CEP (Certified Exercise Physiologist) certification.

She has always enjoyed living an active lifestyle and has played a variety of sports. Emma grew up playing ringette, basketball, and handball. While studying at the University of Regina, Emma competed with the Cougars Varsity Ringette team for their inaugural season.  She has also competed internationally, playing ringette in both Finland and Sweden.

Throughout her studies, Emma also volunteered with a number of different programs including the Rock Steady Boxing exercise program for individuals with Parkinson’s disease, as well as the SLYP Out leisure program at SaskAbilities for children with disabilities. As a member of the Cougars ringette team, she also assisted with programs such as Girls in the Game and Come Try Ringette events. Her experiences through athletics and volunteering have contributed to her passion for functional rehabilitation and helping individuals achieve their goals.

In her spare time, Emma enjoys playing ringette and spending time with friends and family at the lake.
