About
Maddy is passionate about helping her patients get back to what they enjoy doing through personalized physiotherapy care. Being a long-time athlete including years playing competitive basketball and soccer, as well as having a strong interest in human biology and physiology, Maddy pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Physiology at McGill University followed by a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto.
She treats the full gambit of musculoskeletal conditions and loves working with patients of all ages. Whether mobilizing a shoulder for pain-free daily life or pickle ball, improving neck mobility for driving, strengthening a knee or hip to improve arthritic pain, or helping a varsity athlete return to their sport after an ACL tear, Maddy loves helping her patients get back to what they love and achieve their goals. Her approach focuses on both manual, hands-on techniques and personalized exercise programs to get her patients where they want and need to be.
Maddy is committed to staying at the forefront of evidence-based physiotherapy practice. She is eager to participate in continuing education and add more tools into her toolbox to continually optimize her skillset.
She had early exposure to the unique needs of those with neurological conditions and has experience working with individuals recovering from stroke, spinal cord injury, and those with Parkinson’s, Guillain-Barre Syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis, and Cerebral Palsy. She also really enjoys developing creative (and fun!) treatment plans for her younger patients, a skill she developed from her time working with children and youth at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital.
Outside of the clinic, Maddy enjoys playing basketball, soccer, volleyball, and golf. She also loves exploring new food places and taking her friends and family to all the spots around Toronto. She looks forward to working with you at our Danforth location!
