Samoya completed her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 2000 and currently holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She has experience as a physiotherapist, manager, and clinical educator in acute care hospitals, long term care facilities, private practice, and home care. She strives to use her knowledge, experience, and current research to address issues across multiple specialties in physical therapy.
Samoya is passionate about helping people of all ages. She embraces the opportunity to help individuals who have sustained fractures, workplace injuries, motor vehicle accidents, overuse injuries, have arthritis, back pain, and had orthopedic surgery. She also offers pelvic health intervention for individuals with incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and pelvic pain. Her treatments involve the use of therapeutic exercises, hands-on techniques, and physical agents (e.g., heat, electrical stimulation). She strongly believes that knowledge is power. Therefore, she equips her clients with the information they need to understand what is going on in their bodies, aid their recovery, and prevent future injury.
