Amelia completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Alberta in 2011 and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2013. She found her passion for community based OT practice through various clinical practicums and volunteer experiences and has been working in the community setting for the past 11 years. 

She believes that OT offers a unique approach to addressing issues patients face by not only focusing on the person, but also their environment and activities that are meaningful to them. She strives to establish a trusting working relationship with her patients before proceeding to comprehensive assessments and providing patient-centered treatment, with the goal to make lasting positive changes and improve one’s quality of life.

In her free time, she enjoys travelling with her family and walking the beautiful trails the Edmonton river valley has to offer.
