About
Ben earned his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2023. Prior to this, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with Distinction at the University of Saskatchewan in 2020. While at the U of S, he volunteered with the Huskie Health Student Trainer program for three years. In this position, he was actively involved in on-field and in-clinic care of athletes, which further built upon his passion for human performance and physiotherapy. Due to his efforts, he was awarded with the Dr. Walter Hader “Student Trainer of the Year” award in 2020.
Ben favours a function-focused approach targeted to restoring confidence in daily activities and enabling patients to get back to doing the things they love. He prioritizes active exercise programming while supplementing it with hands-on therapies and education to create a treatment plan that best fits individual patient needs.
Outside of the clinic, Ben enjoys staying active through hiking, bouldering, jogging, and rec sports (you name it, he’ll play it). He also has a passion for board games and is always looking to expand his collection so recommendations are welcome.
