
Christina Dorcas
About
Ms. Dorcas received a Bachelor of Science in both biology and psychology from the University of New Brunswick in 1996. Ms. Dorcas then received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Dalhousie University in 1999. Ms. Dorcas is a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapist and is a member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapist of Ontario. Ms. Dorcas has been providing case management, assessment and treatment services since 1999 for individuals with a wide variety of diagnoses (e.g., orthopaedic, soft-tissue injuries), catastrophically impaired clients (traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injuries) and clients who have sustained other traumatic injuries. Ms. Dorcas has experience in hospital discharge planning, assessment, intervention and return to work, providing education to both the client and their caregivers, providing services in a medical legal environment and completing medical legal documentation of services provided to the client.
