Christine Bray
About
Originally from Calgary, AB. Christine graduated from Dalhousie University with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2010, following completion of a Bachelor of Neuroscience. Since graduating, Christine has worked in both Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador. She has continued her education with training in cognitive demands analysis, ergonomic assessments, home assessments, physical demands analysis, cognitive rehabilitation and more recently pediatric assessments. She is trained to complete functional capacity evaluations in the WorkWell protocol. Christine also worked with a large regional employer, giving her an understanding of what employers may seek from treatment providers.
Christine loves being an occupational therapist because it is a profession which promotes health by enhancing an individual’s strengths while working to break down physical, cognitive and psychosocial barriers. Christine is in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Nova Scotia and holds memberships with Nova Scotia Society of Occupational Therapists and the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
Christine enjoys being active. You can often find her running around Halifax and Dartmouth. She is a proud participant of the annual Bluenose half marathon. She enjoys a variety of fitness classes and is always open to joining social sports teams. Christine firmly believes an active lifestyle promotes good physical and mental health.
