Dr. Sharad Rai, MD, MSc, MA, B.Ed, Hon. B.Sc, CCFP, FCFP, OCT is a London-based Family Physician who has worked with Lifemark since 2023. He is the President of the London and District Academy of Medicine and board member of the Rotary Club of London. He has been actively involved in the Ontario Medical Association and the Section on General and Family Practice in many different roles since 2016.  He has advocated extensively for improvements in Ontario’s healthcare system, including presentations to the Standing Committee on the Legislative Assembly and Patient Healthcare Forums in his area, and has published on respiratory and critical care medicine. He was also a member of the Primary Care Working Group for the Premier’s Council on Improving Healthcare and Ending Hallway Medicine between 2018 and 2019.
