Jamie MacNeil
About
Jamie is originally from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. She obtained her Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2020 at Acadia University and then went on to complete her Master of Science in Physiotherapy in 2022 at Dalhousie University.
Throughout her degrees, Jamie has gained experience working with a wide variety of patient populations in all age ranges. Since graduating Jamie has completed a variety of continuing education courses including Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Level 1, Dry Needling, and Concussion Management. Jamie is keen to continue her education, and advance her skill set.
Jamie believes that clients play a crucial part in their care and thinks that they should be active members of the team. Her treatment style revolves around a movement-based approach including therapeutic exercise, education, and manual therapy.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Jamie enjoying the outdoors, hiking, snowboarding, snowshoeing, or just out for a walk. She also enjoys going to the gym, watching any and all sports, or reading a good book.
