About

Jason has a passion for health, wellness and rehabilitation and has been a member of the Altima Physio team in Milton since 2003.

He completed an undergraduate degree with a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa in 1999. During his studies he focused on exercise physiology, fitness testing and training. Also he worked as a student therapist with the varsity football and women's soccer team. Jason is an active member of the College of Kinesiologist in Ontario.

Jason furthered his studies at the Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning and graduated in 2002 from the Sports Injury Management Program. Upon completion he obtained his professional designation as a Certified Athletic Therapist and now is a member of the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association and the Ontario Athletic Therapists Association.

He has kept close ties to Sheridan as an active member in the Program Advisor Committee, co-op students supervisor and evaluating practical comprehensive exams. Jason continued his passion for learning by teaching anatomy, physiology and pathology at ICT Kikkawa Massage Therapy School.

Also, Jason has expanded his professional development by taking various continuing education courses in manual therapy (including myofascial release, muscel energy and advance rehabilitation techniques on the neck, back, shoulder and TMJ). He also is certified in CPR, First Aid, AED and Advanced Medical First Responder.

In addition he has been active within the community coaching minor hockey for 10 years.
