Joan graduated from Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in 2001. She has been a Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the CMTO since 2002 and is also an active member of the Registered Massage Therapist Association of Ontario (RMTAO).

Her outlook as a clinician is that her job is not to "fix" you; her job is to use all the tools that she has to assist your body to heal itself - your body is the healer and she is the helper. Joan is a caring Massage Therapist who is continually expanding her skills and knowledge with the goal of providing the best treatment possible to her clients.

During her career as an RMT, she has given back to her community by volunteering as a member of the Medical Team providing treatment to amateur athletes. This has included pan am/Parapan Am Games (Synchro, diving and swimming), Ontario Summer Games (basketball), North American Indigenous Games (badminton and baseball), and Ontario Parasport Games (sledge hockey, Nordic skiing and soccer).
