About
Justin was born and raised in Sydney, Nova Scotia. He earned a BSc in Biology from Cape Breton University where he played varsity soccer with the CAPERS national silver medal winning team. Justin then completed a Master of Arts degree in Human Kinetics (Sport Psychology) at the University of Ottawa while researching athlete learning.
Justin earned a Master of Science in Physiotherapy degree at Dalhousie University, where he served as the student representative with the NS Physiotherapy Association's Advisory Group, and as an executive member of the National Student Assembly.
Justin's approach to rehabilitation is evidence-based and patient-centered. He has a particular interest in treating movement-based impairments through exercise and functional mobility interventions, but also uses various manual therapeutic approaches in his practice. Justin has experience treating individuals presenting with a range of musculoskeletal and neurological impairments and of various ages and previous activity levels.
Outside of work, Justin enjoys exploring local hiking trails, playing sports, and spending quality time with family and friends
