Kirsty graduated with great distiction from the University of Saskatchewan in 2005. She has completed several courses in Advanced Manual Therapy, McKenzie Assessment and treatment, and Mulligan techniuques. Kirsty has been a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the Orthopaedic Division since 2005.
Kirsty's physiotherapy practice focuses on detailed local and global assessment to identify the root or sometimes multiple causative factors impacting pain or injury. Treatment utilizes manual therapy, thorough education, various modalities, and specific exercise prescription to correct and resolve muscle and spinal imbalances that lead to musculoskeletal injury or impairment. Kirsty is also expanding her education and clinical practice in pelvic floor physiotherapy addressing incontinence, prolapse, and pain associated with women's and men's pelvic health.
