Leena Selvaraj

Physiotherapist

About

Leena Selvaraj has been a physiotherapist since 2003, working primarily in Orthopedic settings and started practicing in Canada since 2018 and is in good standing with the College of Physiotherapy.

Leena has a passion for helping people, while empowering them to contribute to their own healing. Leena’s strength is her ability to listen to her clients and provide the education they need to have a successful outcome. She feels the most important aspect of rehabilitation is good communication between client and physiotherapist. She takes the time to find the root of a person’s problem, and then together with them, creates a plan to address the immediate concern as well as enhance daily living after rehabilitation and prevent recurrence.

Leena has found her best result from treatment focused on education and exercise. When it comes to working with clients, she is thorough and engaged. She loves a good diagnostic challenge and has experience working with patients from every lifestyle and activity level.

Her clinical practice involves a combination of muscle/motor control retraining and specific exercise prescription. She is always eager to learn more, share more, and provide high quality service to clients, using evidence-based research and techniques. Leena is a certified FAE therapist and is helping clients successfully return to work.
