Marilou is an experienced physiotherapist with a comprehensive background in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, gerontology, and pelvic health. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in the Philippines, she has dedicated her career to providing evidence-based, personalized care that meets each patient's unique needs.

Her experience includes musculoskeletal and orthopaedic rehabilitation and pre and post-operative care. Her gerontology experience includes supporting older adults with mobility, fall prevention, and quality of life improvements. She also has a sub-specialities in treating pelvic floor dysfunction, specialized care for persons with Parkinson’s disease focusing on mobility and balance and, lastly, vestibular rehabilitation for managing balance disorders like BPPV and vestibular neuritis.

Marilou contributed her skills to sporting events, including the Pan American/Parapan American Games and the Koop Cup Rhythmic Gymnastics competition, offering specialized care to elite athletes.

Committed to lifelong learning, she stay current with the latest advancements in physiotherapy to ensure the highest standard of care.

In her free time, she enjoy hiking, cycling, road trips, and traveling; always seeking new adventures and opportunities to explore the world around me. She also have a passion for languages, speaking a little bit of several languages and always eager to learn more.
